It incorporates two aspherical lens elements to reduce distortion and produce sharp, crisp image reproduction. Like all PENTAX-FA lenses, it is treated with PENTAX's acclaimed smc coating for maximum light transmission, sharp definition, and high contrast, while minimizing flare and ghost imaging.
